You can request deletion of your iChef account and the personal data we hold about you. Submit the form below and our team will process your request within 30 days.

How to Request Account Deletion

Follow these steps to permanently delete your iChef account:

  1. Complete the request form on this page with the email address associated with your iChef account.
  2. Check your inbox for a verification email from privacy@ichef.co and click the confirmation link.
  3. Our privacy team reviews and processes the request within 30 days.
  4. You'll receive a final email confirming that your account and associated data have been deleted.

What Happens to Your Data

When your account is deleted, the following data is removed or retained as shown below:

Order history & saved chefs Deleted Within 30 days
Reviews & ratings you posted Deleted Within 30 days
Payment method details Deleted Within 30 days
Push notification tokens & device identifiers Deleted Within 30 days
Transaction & invoice records Retained 7 years (legal/tax)
Anonymized analytics data Retained Indefinite (no personal identifiers)

Important to know

  • Deletion is permanent — once processed, your account cannot be restored.
  • Any active orders must be completed or cancelled before deletion can be processed.
  • If you have outstanding payments or refunds, these will be settled before deletion.
  • Certain records (e.g. transactions, tax invoices) are retained where required by law.
